About Andrew

Andrew Bennett is an accomplished attorney with a history of success in complex civil litigation. A member of both the Florida and New York Bar, Andrew has experience in plaintiff’s medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and nursing home litigation.

As an Attorney with Trentalange & Kelley, Andrew has been instrumental in securing successful outcomes for TK Law clients. He has participated in pre-trial depositions, hearings, and civil jury trials, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his clients' cases. Notably, Andrew served as Plaintiff’s counsel in Crohan v. University Community Hospital, which resulted in a $66 million dollar verdict, the fifth largest in Florida in 2022.

Andrew previously served as an Attorney with a litigation boutique in Tampa, Florida, where he focused on representing plaintiffs in complex civil litigation. As a member of the firm’s trial team, he developed and expanded the firm’s motion practice in personal injury and wrongful death cases. Andrew also litigated Engle Progeny Florida tobacco cases from 2015-2019. His legal acumen was evident in his ability to research and argue motions on nuanced procedural and evidentiary legal questions at hearings in seven-figure litigation.

Andrew’s interest in law began at an early age. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Hofstra University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Political Science and Economics. During his time at Hofstra, he served as President of the Professional Organization in Speech Education (P.O.I.S.E.), participated in a workshop at the United Nations, and was the recipient of the Veterans Alumni Chapter endowed scholarship, among other honors.

Andrew then went on to earn his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. While there, he assisted in an upper-level law school course as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant for Professor Luz Nagle. His honors include serving as the President of Equal Justice Works (Public Interest Law Society), receiving the Judge Raphael Steinhardt Public Interest Scholarship, and receiving a William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award.

Andrew’s impressive legal career and dedication to his clients make him an asset to any legal team. His commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and compassionate approach set him apart in his field.
